In my opinion the best way and safest way to browse online and protect your computer from a virus or attack is to run a virtual machine.
its easy to set up and effective, if the virtual machine becomes infected, just reinstall that particular virtual machine. Your actual computer isn't affected so no worries about losing data or getting cyber attacked and losing any personal information. If you download a file on the virtual machine then you can easily get it from there to your actual computer. There are so many benefits to using a virtual machine.
